This scheme will be operational from 1 January 2018. 

  1. The Career Legal Limited Referral Scheme is open and available to individuals who are registered with Career Legal Limited as candidates. (“the Referee”).
     
  2. The scheme is limited to a referral of personal contacts.
     
  3. The scheme excludes referred candidates currently registered with Career Legal or if Career Legal have already received their details by any mean but have not yet entered them on the database. 
     
  4. The referred person must be notified and have consented to their details being passed to Career Legal for this scheme before the date of the referral. This is the responsibility of the referee and is subject to the General Data Protection Rules. The referee will indemnify Career Legal for any loss or claim arising out of the referee's failure to procure such consent.
     
  5. It is the referee's responsibility to contact their Career Legal by writing to candidatecare@careerlegal.co.uk in order to claim their referral gift.
     
  6. Candidates can only be referred to Career Legal once. In the event that a candidate is referred to Career Legal more than once, only the first person to refer that candidate to Career Legal (with the referred person's permission) will be eligible for a referral gift under this scheme.
     
  7. Permanent employees working directly for Career Legal are not eligible to participate in the referral scheme. 
     
  8. We accept referrals for the people who are eligible to work in the UK. 
     
  9. The referee agrees that Career Legal will not be held liable for any loss or claim arising out of the exercise of any of the vouchers in this scheme, and that the referee exercises such vouchers or experiences wholly at their own risk.
     
  10. The referee is eligible to receive a voucher to spend with John Lewis if they refer a person who is placed in a permanent or fixed-term contract position by Career Legal within a period of 12 weeks from a referral date and placement date following the completion of 12 weeks of employment with their new employer. To learn more about voucher value, please contact your consultant. 
     
  11. The referee is eligible to receive a  voucher to spend with John Lewis if they refer a person who is placed in a temporary position by Career Legal Limited and successfully completes a minimum of 10 working days for Career Legal Limited. Please contact your consultant to learn more about the voucher value.
     
  12. In the event that Career Legal is (for whatever reason) unable to procure the indicated gift, then you will receive a substitute gift of commensurate value subject to these same terms and conditions.
