A rare opportunity has arisen at this top 100 firm with an excellent client base of media and entertainment, leisure and hospitality, and financial and investment companies as well as high net worth individuals including celebrities, sportspeople and entrepreneurs, for a compliance manager to oversee the development of the Risk and Compliance department.
The team currently consists of a Partner and an administrator but now requires an experienced Risk and Compliance Professional to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the new regulations are adhered to.
The full spectrum of analysing and clearing conflicts issues, information barriers, AML, reputational risk, ethical risk and professional indemnity insurance is included in this role as well as any other Risk issue which may arise.
As this is a new role, once the standard forms have been developed, a large part initially will be training for the firm.
Applications are welcome from risk and compliance professionals who have extensive experience in a law firm, expected to be a minimum of 5 years, ideally with a legal qualification, but will be considered from those with relevant experience with any degree.
