Our History

Career Legal was founded in 1991 by three impassioned individuals who from the outset saw an opportunity to provide a very different recruitment service to the legal sector.  Initially specialising in legal secretarial posts, they wanted to move away from the industry norm of short term solutions and instead focus on building and developing long term relationships with both clients and candidates.

Those three individuals are still directors of the company and their vision is the cornerstone of how the business has grown over the last 21 years.  Taking a consultative approach we were able to identify new service areas adding specialist divisions as our client needs grew and the industry developed.  We now comprise of 12 divisions and employ in excess of 75 staff.

Following two decades of success, Career Legal has established itself as a market leader with a reputation for an efficient, personal service and a passion for finding the highest quality candidates who are an excellent match for the role.  We have been honoured to receive numerous industry awards for our outstanding service and look forward to another 21 years of success.
