Business Development Executive – Real Estate

A very well-known and prestigious UK-based law firm with a strong national and international presence is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Development Executive to join its Real Estate Division. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in one of the firm's core sectors, working alongside a collaborative, award-nominated marketing and business development team.
Reporting to the Business Development Manager for Real Estate, you’ll help shape and implement strategies that support practice growth, strengthen client relationships, and build the firm’s market profile. This is a great role for someone looking to take ownership of projects while gaining exposure across a wide range of BD and marketing initiatives.
You’ll work closely with colleagues in digital, communications, events, PR, bids, client services and responsible business, as well as directly with partners and lawyers across multiple UK offices.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in delivering BD plans and sector strategies across key areas, including commercial and residential real estate, construction, disputes and housing.
Support with client targeting, retention and cross-selling efforts through tailored research, meeting preparation and relationship tracking.
Draft and manage pitch materials, credentials, proposals and client-facing documents.
Maintain accurate data and pipelines within the firm’s CRM system.
Help deliver campaigns, thought leadership, and events aligned to sector goals.
Coordinate legal directory and award submissions across the division.
Track and evaluate ROI for BD activity and manage budgets.
Update the firm’s website and intranet with relevant real estate content.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
Support wider business development projects and contribute to internal improvements in tools, processes and templates.
Key Skills
A background in marketing, communications or related field (degree-level preferred).
3+ years’ experience in a professional services environment (legal sector desirable).
Strong project management, organisation and stakeholder communication skills.
A confident, client-focused mindset and collaborative working style.
Excellent writing skills, with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.
A proactive attitude towards learning, innovation and continuous improvement.
