We are working with a leading global law firm to recruit a Legal Business Development Manager to support its high-growth Technology practice. This is a high-impact role partnering with senior lawyers on some of the most cutting-edge matters in the market.

As Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the firm’s go-to-market strategy for its Technology practice. Working closely with partners across multiple jurisdictions, you’ll help drive revenue growth, strengthen client relationships, and elevate the firm’s global profile in the tech sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development and marketing strategies for the Technology practice
  • Partner with lawyers to identify cross-selling and client growth opportunities
  • Lead pitches, proposals, and RFP responses, ensuring compelling and client-focused messaging
  • Analyse market, client, and pipeline data to inform strategic decisions
  • Support key client programmes and strategic account initiatives
  • Coordinate thought leadership, campaigns, and events aligned to technology trends (e.g. AI, data, fintech, digital assets)

About You

  • Proven business development experience within a law firm or professional services environment
  • Strong understanding of the technology sector and its legal and commercial drivers
  • Confident stakeholder manager, able to influence at partner level
  • Highly analytical with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, global environment
