Are you an experienced Risk & Compliance professional, looking for a new role within a top international law firm? My client is actively recruiting for someone to join them on a permanent basis in London, working as their new Compliance Officer.
As their new Compliance Officer, your role is to work closely with the COO, MLRO, Risk & Compliance Manager and General Counsel - assisting with KYC to ensure this firm complies with all regulations relating to Risk & Compliance.
You will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Opening new clients and matters via Intapp
- Updating KYC for existing clients
- Conducting KYC checks and risk analysis on a regular basis
- Researching high-risk instructions and preparing reports
- Dealing with queries from the wider teams at the firm
- Supporting the Risk & Compliance Manager on day-to-day projects and tasks
- Keeping an accurate and up-to-date record of all contact with Partners and Fee-Earners

To be considered for this Compliance Officer opportunity, you'll need to have/be the following:
- Have a minimum of TWO YEARS experience within Risk & Compliance at an international law firm
- Be degree educated (ideally LLB/GDL)
- Have a good understanding of AML requirements for non-UK based clients
- Have good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
