Construction Associate (0–3 PQE) – Dublin – Permanent – £Competitive- Hybrid
Our client, a leading global law firm, is seeking an ambitious Construction Associate to join its high-performing Construction & Engineering team based in Dublin.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on major construction, infrastructure, and energy projects, both contentious and non-contentious, alongside a team of experienced partners and senior lawyers.
You’ll be involved from project origination through to completion, advising a wide range of Irish and international clients across sectors such as commercial development, residential, transport, and energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on construction legal issues, including procurement, project management, mid-stream issues (EOTs, claims), and contract negotiation.
- Draft and negotiate construction contracts and ancillary documents (RIAI, NEC, design appointments).
- Work closely with Real Estate, Banking, and Corporate teams on the construction aspects of major deals.
- Support large-scale projects across Ireland and internationally.
About You
- 0–3 years’ post-qualification experience within a recognised law firm or in-house team.
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, or major projects (contentious and/or non-contentious).
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with good knowledge of standard form contracts.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and client relationship skills.
- Ambitious, detail-oriented, and eager to develop within a supportive, growing team.
