We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to join the Real Estate group of a highly regarded City law firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior PA who has become the trusted, go-to person within their team, even if that leadership responsibility hasn’t been formally recognised on paper.

The Firm
This is a firm well known for combining top-tier legal expertise with a collaborative, collegiate culture. They take pride in building long-term careers, encouraging their people to grow and thrive in a supportive yet high-performing environment. With a distinctive reputation in the market, they work closely with leading independent law firms internationally while maintaining a strong London focus.

The Role
As Executive Assistant, you will provide proactive support to the head of department in the Real Estate group while also acting as a central point of contact for the PA team. This dual focus means you’ll balance high-level Partner support with oversight, guidance, and development of the team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner support – preparing agendas, attending meetings, taking minutes, and ensuring follow-up actions are completed

  • Departmental coordination – managing correspondence, scheduling, and ensuring clear communication across the group

  • Financial oversight – liaising with finance on billing, utilisation, and performance tracking

  • Business development support – coordinating with BD managers and partners on client activity

  • Team leadership – monitoring work allocation, supporting performance and development, leading appraisals, and ensuring the PA team delivers to the highest standard

  • Project and management support – assisting with recruitment, resourcing, and firmwide initiatives, while stepping in to provide PA cover where needed

About You
We are seeking someone with strong EA/PA experience, ideally from a legal background. You will be confident working at Partner level and equally comfortable leading and mentoring others.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • A track record of supporting senior stakeholders with exceptional organisation and communication skills

  • The ability to act as a trusted partner to senior leaders and a role model to colleagues

  • Experience guiding, mentoring, or informally managing others in a team environment

  • Strong technical skills across Microsoft Office and document management systems

  • A proactive, professional approach with the resilience to thrive in a fast-paced environment

This role offers the chance to step into a visible, leadership-focused position at one of the City’s most respected firms, where collaboration and excellence go hand in hand.
