Our client is a prestigious international law firm with over 2000 attorneys worldwide. They specialise in a range of areas, including banking, capital markets and dispute resolution.
They are currently looking for a Finance Analyst. This role will be responsible for monitoring and responding to requests sent to Financial Information Centre (FIC) and responding to other ad-hoc requests from partners and management, while working in a team environment to complete ad-hoc financial analyses, reports, and special projects related to client statistics and firm financial metrics.
Responsibilities
- Utilising analytical skills and expert knowledge of business, economics, finance, and accounting to complete complex tasks
- Utilising 3E financial system and Business Objects to obtain data, organise information, and build reports to facilitate effective analysis
- Accurately interpreting requests for analysis and reporting to produce appropriate and correct final work product
- Effectively communicating work products to colleagues across the firm through e-mail, phone, web conference, video conference, and in-person presentations, while answering any questions that may arise regarding the data and/or analytical methods and assumptions used to build the work product
- Making recommendations to streamline the workflow and process within the organization while utilizing new technologies to automate tasks and reporting
Candidate Profile
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
- Related analytical experience in finance or accounting, preferably
- Experience at a professional services organization, preferably
- Experience in working on ad-hoc requests and projects in a fast-paced environment
