They have an opening for a Financial Accountant to join their small team in a broad role incorporating
- Statutory LLP financials and property company accounts
- Corporate tax returns and statutory audit functions
- VAT reporting and compliance
- Driving process improvements and adopting innovative solutions
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and oversight of London LLP, Paris LLP, property company, and dormant subsidiary accounts
- Preparation of tax computations for LLPs and property entities
- Managing group VAT returns
- Liaising with professional advisors and attending networking sessions
- Monitoring regulatory, financial, and tax changes impacting the firm
- Ensuring finance policies and best practices are adhered to
- Reviewing systems and procedures for efficiency and risk management, implementing improvements including AI solutions
- Supporting ad hoc projects and reporting
Candidate Profile
- ACA/ACCA qualified accountant with 4+ years PQE
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS 15 & 16, and LLP SORP
- Recent experience preparing financial statements under UK GAAP
- Background in professional services
- Advanced Excel skills and excellent analytical ability
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Awareness of SRA client account rules (advantageous)
