A well-established, family-run law firm with a commercial focus is seeking an experienced Solicitor to lead their growing Employment team. The firm prides itself on delivering expert legal advice and first-class client service to individuals and businesses.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will take responsibility for leading the Employment team, managing support staff, and working closely with a wide client base. This senior role involves providing commercially minded employment law advice, managing litigation, and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate, and manage the Employment team to maintain high standards of client service
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and referrers
Provide expert advice on employment law issues to individuals and businesses, including litigation and advocacy
Advise clients ranging from start-ups to SMEs on day-to-day employment and HR matters, ensuring compliance and up-to-date documentation
Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business targets and contribute to growth initiatives
Candidate Profile:
Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years PQE specialising in Employment Law
Confident litigator and advocate with strong legal knowledge
Excellent communication skills with a professional and client-focused approach
Highly organised, proactive, and committed to professional development
Strong leadership skills and a team-oriented mindset
