Legal Executive Assistant (12-Month FTC)
Salary: Circa £60,000

Hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm, Monday – Thursday in the office, Friday WFH

We are partnering with a leading law firm to recruit a Legal Executive Assistant to support the Head of their London Funds Team and the Co-Chair of the firm’s Global Real Estate Funds Practice. This is an exciting 12-month fixed-term contract, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Inbox Management
- Efficiently organise and prioritise inboxes, reviewing, flagging, responding, and delegating as needed.
- Identify urgent matters and liaise promptly with clients and internal colleagues.
- Financial Oversight
- Support fee monitoring and forecasting activities.
- Act as the team’s in-house credit controller, managing client payments and resolving invoice issues.
- Lead practice group meetings to track and report on WIP performance.
- Personal Assistant Duties
- Manage shareholders’ global commitments and leadership-related tasks.
- Prepare essential documents for practice group and shareholder meetings.
- Perform a comprehensive range of PA duties to ensure smooth operations.
- Business Development Support
- Coordinate business development initiatives, ensuring impactful client engagement through pitches, materials, and events.
- Maintain the business development tracker and assist shareholders in nurturing key client relationships.
- Organise and host both internal and external business development events.
- Practice Group Administration
- Develop templates and initiatives to improve workflow efficiency for shareholders and the team.
- Oversee task delegation and follow up on action points from team meetings.
- Provide support in the lateral hiring process.
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a PA or EA in a law firm environment, supporting senior fee earners.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential matters.
- Comfortable liaising with clients at all levels and across multiple jurisdictions.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
