An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a leading international law firm in London. This role will provide direct support to a senior Italian Partner and their team, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth running of a busy, fast-paced practice.
Fluency in Italian and English (both written and spoken) is essential, as you’ll be liaising regularly with Italian-speaking clients and colleagues.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality secretarial and administrative support to Partners, Associates, and Trainees, working collaboratively across the firm to maintain the highest standards of client service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Complex diary and inbox management, with strong prioritisation and attention to detail
- Preparing, amending, and formatting documents, correspondence, and presentations
- Coordinating travel, meetings, and client communications in both Italian and English
- Managing billing, expenses, and client engagement processes
- Handling document management, filing, and general administrative tasks
- Building strong working relationships with internal teams and external clients
About You
We’re looking for a confident, professional, and highly organised individual with a background supporting senior stakeholders in a corporate or legal setting.
You will have:
- Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken)
- A minimum of four years’ experience supporting at Partner level within a City law firm
- Excellent technical skills across MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Impeccable attention to detail and time management
- A proactive, calm, and flexible approach to changing priorities
- A friendly, team-focused attitude and commitment to delivering first-class support
