Legal Secretary – Real Estate
Bristol | £28,500 – £33,500 per annum | Full-time, Permanent | Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days WFH)
My client, a leading law firm with a strong presence in Bristol, is seeking a professional and proactive Legal Secretary to join their busy Real Estate department. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a growing team, supporting a number of new joiners and playing a key role in the smooth running of the department.
The role:
You’ll be providing high-quality secretarial and administrative support to the Real Estate team, including at Partner level. The role will involve a broad range of tasks, requiring excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Key responsibilities:
Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to fee earners within the Real Estate department
Managing diaries, arranging meetings, and coordinating travel where required
Preparing, editing, and formatting legal documents and correspondence
Handling billing and time recording, ensuring all financial processes are completed accurately and promptly
Liaising with clients and colleagues in a professional and confident manner
Maintaining and updating client files, both electronic and paper-based
Assisting with general office administration as required
About you:
Previous experience working as a Legal Secretary, ideally within a Real Estate or Commercial Property team
Experience supporting at Partner level is highly desirable
Confident handling billing and financial administration
Strong IT skills, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
Highly organised, with excellent communication and time management skills
A team player with a proactive and adaptable approach
