The Role

You’ll be joining an award-winning Pensions team — one of the most highly regarded practices in Ireland and part of a top-ranked global network. The team is recognised for its excellence and consistent track record advising on major pension schemes and complex regulatory matters.

As the practice continues to grow, the firm is looking to strengthen its Employment, Labour, and Pensions group with talented and ambitious lawyers who want to work on market-leading matters alongside some of the most respected pensions experts in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on high-profile pension matters for some of Ireland’s largest schemes and corporate sponsors
  • Support partners on complex pensions law issues, including master trusts, regulatory frameworks, and pension risk transfers/buy-outs
  • Draft and negotiate commercial agreements and pension change documents
  • Provide clear, practical advice to trustees, corporates, and regulatory bodies
  • Collaborate with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions on cross-border mandates

About You

  • 0–4 years’ PQE from a law firm or in-house legal team
  • A genuine interest in pensions law and regulation (experience with Irish pensions and master trusts desirable)
  • Experience drafting commercial agreements and advising both corporates and trustees
  • Strong understanding of the intersection between pensions, corporate, and employment law
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues for clients
  • Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working in a high-performing, supportive team
