Personal Injury Associate (2- 5PQE)

Location: Manchester or Liverpool (2/3 days in office per week)

Salary: £competitive

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified solicitor to join a specialist litigation practice that has quickly established itself as a leader in claimant group actions. The firm is growing rapidly, with offices across the UK, and represents hundreds of thousands of clients in high-profile cases.

This role offers the chance to work alongside experienced partners and senior associates, taking responsibility for progressing complex personal injury matters and leading teams of paralegals and business support professionals. You’ll play a key part in delivering justice for clients while developing your career within an award-winning, innovative practice.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Working closely with senior lawyers to deliver work of the highest standard.
  2. Leading and supervising teams of paralegals and business professionals.
  3. Drafting correspondence for clients, opposing counsel, and the Court/Tribunal.
  4. Managing legal documentation and ensuring effective case management.
  5. Reviewing and reporting on medical forms and client information.
  6. Conducting legal research, drafting, and reviewing case-related documents.
  7. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  8. Taking responsibility for progressing bulk client claims and resolving data queries.

About You

  1. Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with experience in Personal Injury, Serious Injury, or Catastrophic Injury.
  2. Strong ability to analyse and report on medical forms.
  3. Commercially aware with excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  4. Confident communicator, able to build trusted relationships internally and externally.
  5. Previous experience supervising paralegals or trainees.
  6. Highly motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Client-focused, resilient, and able to manage multiple priorities at once.
