London
An established, high-performing professional services firm is seeking a Pitch Executive to join its Marketing & Business Development team. This is a key role within a centralised pitch function, supporting the firm’s lawyers and BD colleagues in delivering standout, client-focused proposals.
Reporting to the Pitch Manager, the Pitch Executive will work closely with the broader BD team to guide partners and fee earners through the full pitch lifecycle. You will help shape compelling RFPs, RFIs, capability statements, panel submissions and related pitch materials. A key part of the role involves supporting the adoption of AI-powered pitching tools and proposal software, ensuring best practice, consistency, and efficiency across all pitch activity. You will also collaborate with an in-house design team to produce polished, high-quality materials using InDesign.
The firm is known for its collaborative culture, long-term career development, and high-quality client service. With a reputation for combining technical expertise with a personable, supportive environment, the firm encourages initiative, values diverse perspectives, and promotes equal opportunities at every stage of an employee’s career.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft clear, persuasive pitch content and produce supporting materials including credentials, RFIs, RFPs and panel submissions.
- Advise on best practice throughout the entire pitch journey, from go/no-go decisions to post-pitch follow up.
- Act as a superuser for the firm’s pitching and proposal systems, ensuring effective usage and identifying opportunities to optimise workflows.
- Maintain the pitch content library and boilerplate materials, ensuring messaging is accurate, current, and aligned to the firm’s strengths.
- Conduct background research on clients, competitors, and market trends to help shape winning ideas.
- Proofread and quality-check documents to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Support pitch reporting, track outcomes, and share key learnings with relevant stakeholders.

- Confidence liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with strong attention to detail.
- A solid understanding of best practice in competitive pitching and business development.
