A prestigious, top-tier global law firm is seeking a proactive and highly organised Practice Assistant to join their collaborative and supportive Corporate Finance team. About the Role

Working closely with a team of busy Partners and fee earners, you will provide first-class secretarial and administrative support. This is a varied and fast-paced role, ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, staying one step ahead, and supporting a high-performing practice group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft and prepare correspondence, legal documents, and presentations with minimal direction

  • Manage complex calendars and schedules for Partners and fee earners

  • Coordinate detailed international travel arrangements and itineraries

  • Organise and prioritise high volumes of emails and calls, responding where appropriate

  • Prepare and proofread memos, charts, reports, and client-facing materials

  • Update and refine PowerPoint and other visual presentations

  • Liaise confidently with internal teams and external clients

  • Support colleagues across the practice group, contributing to a positive and collaborative team culture

  • Share knowledge, resources, and best practices to support continuous improvement

Skills & Experience Required:
  • Significant experience in a legal secretarial or professional services support role

  • Strong technical skills, with confident knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Experience with systems such as Intapp Time / Intapp Open (or similar)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and meet tight deadlines

  • A proactive mindset with genuine commitment to self-development and teamwork

  • Confidence supporting senior stakeholders and handling confidential information

  • Secretarial qualification preferred but not essential
