Private Client Solicitor (1–3 PQE) – City of London

A prestigious City law firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor with 1–3 years' post-qualification experience to join its esteemed Private Client Group. The successful candidate will engage in a diverse range of matters, including high-value tax and estate planning, UK and cross-border estate administration, and advising on trusts and philanthropic endeavours. This role offers the opportunity to work with a varied clientele, including high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and trustees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting wills and providing succession planning advice.

  • Advising on inheritance tax and capital gains tax planning.

  • Administering estates, both domestic and international.

  • Creating and managing trusts, and advising trustees and beneficiaries.

  • Collaborating with partners on contentious probate matters and offshore client advisory.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 1–3 years' PQE in private client law.

  • Experience with high-net-worth clients; international exposure is advantageous.

  • STEP qualification or willingness to obtain it.

  • Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness.

  • Excellent client relationship and business development abilities.
