The Opportunity
The firm is seeking a Senior Associate (6+ PQE) to join its Core Real Estate team in Cardiff. This is an excellent chance to get involved in top-tier property transactions for a broad range of clients, including major investors, developers, and corporate occupiers.
The Team
You’d be joining a strong and well-structured Real Estate team consisting of Associates, Senior Associates, Legal Directors and Partners. The team works collaboratively across the UK and supports clients on every aspect of property law — from acquisitions and disposals to lettings, development and ongoing asset management. Knowledge sharing and cross-office collaboration are very much part of the culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising on a full range of real estate matters, including acquisitions, disposals, lettings and asset management
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating leases, contracts and related documentation
- Managing transactions end-to-end and delivering work to high standards under deadline
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Contributing to business development initiatives and supporting the wider growth of the team
Skills & Experience Required
- Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with 6+ years’ PQE in real estate
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues
- Proven business development experience
- Strong technical knowledge of property transactions and landlord/tenant matters
- Excellent drafting, communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently and under pressure
- Commercially focused and client-centred approach
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
