This position is part of the Legal Technology team and reports directly to the Head of Legal Technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive adoption and support for the firm’s Legal Technology tools, both internally and with clients, including building bots and agents using Generative AI solutions.
  • Champion the use of Legal Technology by creating streamlined processes to introduce and embed these tools in new areas.
  • Manage projects and tasks aligned with business needs, ensuring timely delivery within budget. This includes mentoring trainees on their innovation initiatives.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for day-to-day technology queries, particularly supporting the Business Advisory and Transactional Services teams (Banking, Commercial, Corporate, Employment, Immigration, and Tax) and associated technologies.
  • Act as the firm’s subject matter expert, maximizing the value of current software, keeping up with new developments in the market, and contributing to investment discussions. This extends to engaging with external clients.
  • Collaborate with the Learning & Development team and the Head of Legal Technology to create training programs and best practices for Legal Technology adoption.
  • Work alongside IT and the Solution Development team to design practical solutions for client-facing business challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including SRA Standards, Regulations, and Principles.

Requirements

 

·  Proficiency in tools like Legatics, Definely, Datasite, LUPL, Jigsaw, HighQ, or similar, and experience with e-signature solutions used in Corporate and Commercial transactions.

  • Familiarity with Generative AI, document automation, and low-code app-building tools (e.g., Fliplet) is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with emerging technologies and adapt quickly.
  • Strong experience in managing and delivering projects.
  • Background in legal technology or administrative roles supporting transactional matters in a law firm.
  • Understanding of legal workflows and the ability to identify where Legal Technology can enhance processes or client experiences.
  • Effective collaboration skills across departments, with a professional and diplomatic approach.
  • Confident communicator with a strong grasp of systems, data, and analysis.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational abilities.
