An award-winning law firm is seeking a skilled and successful Personal Injury Attorney to join its expanding team. This role offers the opportunity to assist clients in securing justice and compensation for their injuries, managing cases from inception to settlement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, insurance adjusters, and medical providers
- Draft and review legal documents, including motions, discovery responses, demand letters, and pleadings
- Gather and analyze case evidence such as insurance policies and medical records
- Maintain accurate case documentation within case management systems
- Represent clients at mediations, trials, hearings, depositions, and litigation
- Negotiate settlements when appropriate
- Lead and manage a team of legal professionals, including paralegals and legal assistants
- Conduct depositions and oversee discovery processes
**Qualifications:**
- Licensed to practice in New Jersey
- Minimum of 3 years of successful personal injury litigation and trial experience
- Proficient in negotiating settlements and resolving property damage claims
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite and case management systems
- Capable of handling high-volume caseloads in an organized manner
- Demonstrates a team-oriented, respectful approach to clients and colleagues
- Driven, organized, and detail-oriented
- Hybrid schedule flexibility
Compensation: Up to $180,000 DOE
