Private Client Solicitor – Up to £65,000 + Benefits

Salary: Up to £65,000
PQE: 2+ years or equivalent experience
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
Flexible working: Hybrid available
A highly regarded, family-run firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Fee Earner to join their established team in either Chelmsford. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Department and other senior team members, handling a broad range of private client matters including Wills, LPAs, Probate, Trusts, and Court of Protection work. Key Responsibilities:
Managing a varied caseload of Private Client matters including Wills, Probate, Trusts, LPAs, and Court of Protection
Advising clients on tax planning and estate administration
Drafting relevant documentation and managing matters from instruction to completion
Supporting the development of junior team members where appropriate
Playing an active role in business development and client relationship management
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ PQE or equivalent experience within Private Client law
Strong technical knowledge across all standard private client areas
Excellent client care and communication skills
Ability to manage files independently with appropriate supervision
A proactive, collaborative approach with a strong eye for detail
