My client, a top UK full-service law firm, is seeking a Paralegal who has prior/existing experience in either Housing, Real Estate, Property or Conveyancing to join them on a permanent basis in their London offices near Liverpool Street.
Working in one of the largest Property teams in England & Wales, your role will involve providing advice and assistance to Registered Providers of Social Housing and Private Landlords – whilst working with the Solicitors and Partners and also managing your own caseload.
As the successful Housing Management & Property Litigation Paralegal, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Assisting Solicitors and Fee-Earners with the day to day running of files;
- Drafting and preparing claim forms, pleadings and witness statements;
- Preparing trial bundles;
- Attending Court to assist Barristers and Fee-Earners;
- Conduct advocacy in the County Court on routine matters;
- Occasionally undertake site visits;
- Assisting with any enquiries made my clients, Barristers or other Fee-Earners.

This department acts for over 100 Registered Providers in England & Wales on all aspects of Housing Management and Property Litigation advice – to be considered for this Paralegal opportunity, you’ll need to have/be the following:
- Have a minimum of 2:1 in law (or equivalent) / LPC is desirable;
- MUST Have experience dealing with Registered Providers and/or Private Landlords;
- Have experience in a similar position from a law firm;
- Be a supportive team player and willing to assist others;
- Be confident in all MS applications (Work, Excel, Outlook, etc);
- Have the ability to prepare pleading and witness statements for the Court.
