Tax, Trusts & Estates Associate – Florida Offices

Location: Florida (Miami, Palm Beach, or Boca Raton Offices)

A well-respected AmLaw 200 firm with a strong national platform is seeking a talented Tax, Trusts & Estates Associate to join its Florida offices. This is a unique opportunity to work on sophisticated planning and advisory matters for high-net-worth clients, families, and closely held businesses.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience in trusts and estates practice, with an emphasis on tax planning, wealth transfer, and estate administration. The role involves handling complex matters that require a high degree of technical skill and client-facing interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on estate planning, wealth transfer, and business succession strategies.
  • Structure trusts, estates, and charitable giving vehicles in a tax-efficient manner.
  • Manage estate and trust administration, including probate proceedings.
  • Provide counsel on federal and state tax issues affecting individuals, estates, and trusts.
  • Collaborate with accountants, financial advisors, and other professionals to deliver integrated client service.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in trusts and estates, with proven tax planning expertise.
  • LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning preferred.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar required.
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and research skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-service focus.

Compensation & Benefits
